Sam has assisted his clients to plan and enjoy their fulfilling retirements since 1996. He is committed to effectively reducing multiple types of risk that his client’s portfolios will encounter during retirement. He strives to provide his clients with an increased sense of security and peace of mind so that they can feel more confident that they a plan to never run out of money.

He has now served some families over three generations. One of his highest honors is when the “next generation” of a family chooses to him as their advisor.

Sam has taught Retirement Income Planning classes at Texas Christian University, Tarrant County College and Hill College. He has received tax and retirement planning training from industry leaders such as Ed Slott and Tom Hegna.

Sam holds a Series 65 Securities License and is an Investment Advisor Representative and as a fiduciary, he is required to always put the best interest of his client first.

Sam also holds a Life and Health Insurance License in The State of Texas.

Sam received his undergraduate degree from Furman University in Greenville, S.C. He also received a Masters degree from Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth, TX. Sam serves as a Board member of Student Discipleship Ministries headquartered in Burleson, TX. Sam and his wife, Julie have been married for 41 years. They enjoy spending time with their four children and seven grandchildren in Texas, Arkansas and California. They have five grandsons and two granddaughters ranging in age from 2 years old to 19 years old.
